1 Timothy 3 will define for us the qualifications for these leaders in the church.
Vs 1-7 will give us the qualifications of the leaders in the church.
Vs 8-13 will give us the qualifications for the people that serve in the church.
Vs 14-16 will tell us why these positions in the church are needed.
The character of the Christian leadership & servants is far more important than the governance or how the church functions. There is much more emphasis on character than oversight.
