1 Timothy 1:8-11

The law was never given to mankind as a method for salvation. 

The law was given as a standard. A standard that proves that none of us are worthy. 

The law is a tutor or a teacher, that teaches us that we need a Savior. 

How is the law to be used lawfully? It points us to Jesus!

Paul says that he was blessed by God to have the opportunity to share the Gospel with others. He says God trusted him with this task.

Timothy is also trusted with this task.
