1 Timothy 5:3-16

Our example for helping people here in our text is dealing with widows? 

If there is family, the family should take care of them, not the church.

If they are true widows, the church will come along side & help as needed.

The young widows (under 60) should continue to seek & serve the Lord.

To be patient & wait for God to work in their life.

We need God's discernment when it comes to helping others financially.
