1 Timothy 1:1-8

On Paul’s 1st Missionary trip, we conclude that Timothy received Jesus in Lystra. On Paul’s 2nd Missionary trip, Paul sees the call of God in Timothy’s life & invites him to join the team. Timothy becomes a faithful servant in the ministry. Being prepared for the call of pastoring in Ephesus.

1 Timothy is a letter to Timothy who is in Ephesus serving as the pastor. Paul is writing to his young apprentice to encourage & instruct him to lead & minister to the church.

The goal in pastoral ministry is teaching sound doctrine with love from a pure heart, a good conscience & from sincere faith.
