Leviticus 21-22

Chapter 21-22 will instruct us on the strict standards of ceremonial, moral, and physical purity that God has required of Levitical priests & the sacrifices that are brought to the Tabernacle by the people.
Because the priest are to represent a holy God, they were instructed to avoid defilement.
All animal sacrifices were required to be physically flawless as well.
Keep in mind that these priestly & sacrificial requirements point to the ultimate, perfect priesthood & unblemished sacrifice of Jesus Christ.
