Exodus 21-22

in chapters 21-22, God will give laws for a wide variety of categories.

Employment & servants, murder, manslaughter, liability & responsibility for ones livestock, theft & restitution, premarital sex & the value of virginity, sorcery, how to take care of the weak & disadvantaged in society, money, lending & overall justice.

You will notice that many of these laws are adapted in some way to our laws today.
