Ephesians 6:14-24

Paul has given us an analogy of how spiritual warfare happens.

In that analogy, he tells us that we need to be able to stand in this battle.

This analogy of a soldiers attire is a wonderful way for us to see the equipment we need for battle. But if we remove the battle gear aspect & reflect specifically on what we need in our day-to-day life, it might change how we view the spiritual battle. Remember, we do not wrestle with flesh & blood.

You & I need to have these characteristics in our lives:

•Truth of God

•Righteousness of God

•Sharing the Gospel, the Good News of Jesus with others.

•Faith in God

•Salvation from God

•The Word of God
