Ezekiel 22

The God of Israel, loved them, provided for them and protected them. He gave them instruction on how to live and worship. That instruction in life and worship protected them.

But as time went on they chose to be less and less discipled in seeking after the nations around them. They looked and thought those things were better than God. The grass is always greener syndrome.
