The religious leaders continue to question. They view the evidence & yet they will not believe. Why? Jesus has disrupted their way of life & they do not want to change.
Jesus does this to all of us in some way.
He comes along & reveals something in our hearts…..our sin.
The sin of selfishness, the sin of pride, the sin of disobedience.
Like these Pharisees, we like doing what we want to do & we do not want anyone telling us anything different.
